Free file converter.
Upload nothing.
Most online converters send files to a server. This site runs supported formats in your browser instead, inside this tab with open-source WebAssembly engines. Some workflows still need optional server-side help and those are clearly marked before conversion.

Nothing is uploaded. Your files are decoded, converted and re-encoded by WebAssembly running inside this tab, then handed straight back to you. The first conversion of a kind downloads that engine (a few MB for images, ~12–30 MB for video/audio) — later ones are instant.
Your files never leave this device — there is no upload and no server to delete them from.

Popular file conversions
The conversion happens here, in this tab
WebAssembly lets compiled C and Rust run inside your browser. For many common files this gives good speed and local control; for very large files, browser memory can become the practical limit before any upload limit.

Your file is read locally
Choosing a file gives the page a reference on disk for supported browser flows. Nothing in that path is uploaded.
- 02
A WASM engine does the work
ffmpeg for video and audio, MozJPEG and libwebp and libavif for images, pdf.js and pdf-lib for documents, libarchive for archives. All compiled to WebAssembly, all running in a worker thread.

The result is handed back
The output exists only in your browser’s memory until you save it. Close the tab and it is gone — there is no retention window to wait out.
Works offline
Once the engine has loaded, the page keeps converting with the network disconnected. Try it.
No file-size ceiling from us
There is no upload limit because there is no upload. The practical limit is your device’s memory — around 2 GB for video.
Nothing to trust us about
For browser-based pairs, privacy is structural: open your browser’s network panel while converting and you can confirm there is no file payload in transit. Read how that works.
